Digital Media Lecturer Location: Essex Job Type: Part-time Salary: £30-40 per hour We are seeking a Digital Media Lecturer to join our client's team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a qualified teacher with a passion for digital media and experience in higher or further education settings. The position involves delivering high-quality teaching in digital media, focusing on editing, filming, media knowledge, and 3D modelling. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions in digital media, ensuring high standards of learning and student engagement. Utilise industry-standard software like Premier Pro for editing and AutoDesk Maya or Blender for 3D modelling. Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the digital media industry to ensure relevance in teaching materials. Collaborate with faculty members to enhance course content and delivery methods. Timetable to be confirmed; total of 18 hours per week. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must be a qualified teacher with one of the following: PGCE, QTS, or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training. Proficient in digital editing tools such as Premier Pro. Skilled in filming and media production. Knowledgeable in 3D modelling using Blender or AutoDesk Maya.
