Our client, an award-winning property management agency based in Watford, is seeking an experienced Property Manager to support their team as they bring new developments under management. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for a property management professional looking to expand their career in block management.
As a Property Manager, youll be responsible for managing day-to-day operations across multiple developments, from budgeting and maintenance coordination to stakeholder communication and compliance. Youll play a key role in ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review annual service charge budgets and maintain budgetary control.
Collaborate with the accounts team to ensure timely preparation and distribution of service charge accounts.
Oversee the maintenance of buildings and communal areas, liaising with contractors as necessary.
Address enquiries from Freeholders, Leaseholders, and Management Companies professionally.
Organise and attend Directors Meetings and Annual General Meetings where needed.
Manage major works projects, including serving Section 20 Notices.
Ensure compliance with current Health and Safety regulations.
Conduct regular site visits and maintain accurate property records.
Provide exceptional customer service to clients and residents.
Candidate Profile:
Experience: Previous experience in property or block management is highly desirable.
Skills: Excellent communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
Customer Service Orientation: Demonstrated ability to respond professionally to client and resident enquiries.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with property management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Other Requirements: A car is preferred for site visits.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Holiday: 24 days holiday, plus 8 bank holidays.
