Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HR Operations Specialist to join our team at Westbridge Furniture Designs Ltd.
Key Responsibilities:
* First Point of Contact: Be the primary point of contact for Manufacturing Team Leaders and line managers for general people queries and advice.
* Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with Manufacturing Team Leaders and line managers to gain a deep understanding of the business.
* HR Operations Support: Provide assistance with various HR operations activities, including processing changes to employment contracts, flexible working requests, and disciplinary matters.
* Problem Solving: Be agile and prepared to handle unexpected challenges and resolve issues as they arise.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with the HR team on various projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, benefits administration, and policy development.
* Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
* Data Management: Ensure that all employee relations case files are up-to-date.
* Statistical Analysis: Utilize data to identify key trends and discuss them with the HR Business Partner.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Proficiency in MS Office, strong communication and attention to detail skills.
* Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a good understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices.
* CIPD Level 5 qualification. Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
