Role Overview
Care Assistants play a vital role in supporting our clients to live safe and independent lives in their own homes. This involves delivering award-winning care that maintains their dignity, self-worth, and independence.
The role is varied and requires compassion, resilience, and a willingness to learn. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for following individual care plans and assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, managing incontinence, and administering medication.
You will also help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes, and housework, while providing companionship and support to prevent loneliness. This includes mobility assistance and helping clients get around.
