Job Title: Locum Podiatrist Banding : Band 6/7 Location : London Start Date: ASAP Duration : Ongoing Working Hours : Full-time Rate : £24:00 - £34:00 per hour Job Description: We are seeking multiple Band 6 and Band 7 Locum Podiatrists to join our team for various roles focused on wound care clinics and home visits. These positions are essential for providing high-quality podiatric care, including diabetic assessments and ongoing patient management. What your responsibilities will be for this Podiatry role? As a Band 6/7 Locum Podiatrist you will primarily provide wound care in clinics and during home visits, ensuring that patients receive appropriate treatment and support. You will conduct diabetic assessments, including annual reviews and care planning for patients with diabetes. You will manage new waiting lists for patients requiring telephone or virtual clinics, ensuring timely access to care. You will perform diabetic foot surveillance for patients in remission and provide comprehensive nail surgery and management. You will offer musculoskeletal assessments and general podiatry care, tailoring treatment plans to meet each patient’s needs. You will maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes in line with professional standards. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and effective patient management. Qualifications and Experiences: Must be a registered Podiatrist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Significant experience in wound care and diabetic assessments is essential. Experience in diabetic foot surveillance, nail surgery, and general podiatry is required. Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and multidisciplinary collaboration. Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload effectively. Willingness to travel to and from the island, with travel costs covered. Staff accommodation available at £25 per night for the first 14 days and £18 per night thereafter. Scrubs will be provided during work hours. Why work with Pulse?
