Hourly Rates (dependent on experience):

Day: £15.33 to £17.25 per hour
Night/Saturday: £19.93 to £22.42 per hour
Sunday/Bank Holiday: £24.53 to £27.59 per hour

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The post holder will work under the overall supervision of a Band 6 or 7 Supervisor; however, the post holder will be required to work without direct supervision. In addition, following a period of Preceptorship and agreement with the Ward Manager, the post holder will at times take the lead of junior staff, and will be designated to take charge of the ward on a regular basis.
Additionally, responsibility will be held for the development of:
* Assessments, Implementation and evaluation of inpatient treatment plans
* Accurate and timely risk assessments
* Supervision of junior staff
* Providing training for qualified and unqualified staff, including basic and post basic students
* All of the above will be an integral part of the role.
* Patients, relatives, carers and colleagues will find the post holder professional, approachable, helpful, flexible and co-operative. Upholding the ethos of EPUT of good customer care at all times, with an awareness of one’s own attitude.
