About the School
This fantastic SEN school caters for children aged 4-16 who have a variety of learning difficulties and complex needs. As a SEN TA, you will be involved in an interactive and practical curriculum to promote independence and improve social and learning development.
Position Details
This role is full-time (Monday to Friday), during term time only. We are seeking an outgoing and compassionate SEN TA to join a friendly and supportive team that will help you reach your full potential. The setting is well-established in the community, Ofsted outstanding, and provides a safe and welcoming environment.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a resilient, committed, and passionate individual who wants to make a difference. An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
* Ability to build positive and appropriate relationships with students with SEN and teachers
* Passion for working with SEN children
* GCSE Maths and English
* Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities
* Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups with pupils
* Providing feedback to teachers on students' progress and development
* Creating a secure and positive classroom environment
* Supervising and monitoring behaviour
* Following the individual learning plans set by the teacher
