USAVE UTILITY CONTRACTS is a UK-wide Business Energy Consultancy and Procurement Specialist. We presently manage on behalf of our customers energy contracts in excess of £150m per annum. We aim to create and build solid long term professional relationships with our new and existing customers.
Our highly skilled team has over 50 years of combined experience in simplifying utilities - whether it be by reducing utility costs, through the streamlining of processes, eliminating wasteful usage or by assisting with dispute resolution with suppliers. We pride ourselves in offering all of our clients the very best of advice, customer service and care.
Key Responsibilities
1. Managing a portfolio of clients
2. Procurement of energy and water contracts (fixed and flex)
3. Managing and procuring MOP / DA / DC contracts
4. Invoice validation & management of billing issues & queries on behalf of clients
5. Delivering all the clients administration needs
6. Prepare consumption, CCA, SECR, Flex & TCR analysis reports
7. Prepare templated monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting as per the agreed workplan
8. Continuously evaluate and improve data analysis methodologies, tools, and processes
9. Stay informed about industry trends, policies, and attend relevant events and conferences
10. Monitoring the energy & water markets
11. Implementing power and gas hedging strategies
12. Reviewing and updating the moving average price charts
13. Run performance reports, interpret, and provide insight behind the numbers
14. Support directors in client and sales meetings
15. Present market overviews, trends, and project-specific information to stakeholders
16. Assist & develop opportunities to enhance system / software functionality, efficiency, and user experience
17. Assist with maintaining documentation - operating procedures & templates, user guides, and troubleshooting manuals
Skills and Experience Required
1. Good knowledge of the UK Energy Industry, its operations across both power and gas
2. Knowledge and experience in the implementation of Industry processes and contractual obligations
3. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build long term relationships with others (internal and external)
4. Exceptional analytical skills: quickly digest and understand complex information
5. Effective organisation skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage your own queries using inhouse systems
6. An eye for detail, work quickly and accurately under pressure and manage high volume workflows
7. Self-motivated with the skills to engage and inspire others
8. Fluent English, both spoken and written
9. Degree level education or equivalent industry experience
