Spiers Care Home is a modern purpose-built property set in the heart of Beith, surrounded by community venues and local amenities as well as being a short walk from public parkland. The home has 43 private rooms all with en-suite WC, or full en-suite facilities. There are a number of comfortable lounges and dining rooms, all of which are well-appointed and offer the opportunity for residents to comfortably socialise. The home benefits from landscaped grounds including patios and courtyard spaces for residents to enjoy. There is onsite parking for visiting family and friends, and the centre of Beith’s high street, with all its amenities, is a short walk.

Requirements
Duties will include but not limited to:
Assist the Manager in providing a home for residents which promotes a caring environment through high standards of professional practice
Meet the care needs of residents whilst promoting dignity, privacy, safety and independence
Act as a supportive and effective leader
Attend all in house and external training as required
Perform all nursing duties to a high standard
Complete physical and psychological assessments of new residents on admission.
Safely administer medication and keep records.
Ensure effective rotas are in place.
Register with the relevant professional bodies.
