Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Bath, United Kingdom. As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized care and support in their homes.
1. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and medication reminders.
2. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversations and activities.
3. Prepare nutritious meals and help with light housekeeping tasks.
4. Accompany clients to appointments and social outings as needed.
5. Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health to the care team.
6. Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents or concerns.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
8. Adapt to clients' individual needs and preferences, promoting their independence and dignity.
9. Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies or unexpected situations.
10. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance care skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
1. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
2. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Patience, understanding, and ability to work with diverse personalities and needs.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team.
5. Full UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
6. Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as required.
7. Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to care standards.
8. Ability to adapt to changing situations and remain calm under pressure.
9. Full training is given regardless of experience.
Additional Information
1. We pay between £13.00 to £28.00 an hour.
2. Paid Travel and Waiting time between client visits.
3. Paid mileage, with payments matched to current fuel prices.
4. Paid on-boarding training and ongoing training including CPR and Dementia training. Free qualifications such as The Care Certificate, NVQ diplomas.
5. Paid holiday.
6. Regular working pattern with 1-hour minimum visits to regular clients.
7. Out of hours support from the Office team.
