SREs play a critical role in ensuring global clients enjoy seamless access to their services. As a Lead SRE, you will design, build, and operate the infrastructure, middleware, and CI/CD systems that power our teams. By combining software and systems engineering expertise, you will proactively create secure, fault-tolerant systems, improve observability, and automate away toil.
What You’ll Do
1. Design, operate, and support the infrastructure and internal services to enhance performance, availability, scalability, and efficiency.
2. Foster a culture of reliability and automation through data-driven monitoring and SRE best practices.
3. Collaborate with development teams to build scalable, high-availability services and streamline continuous deployment frameworks.
4. Resolve incidents and engage with cross-functional teams, including external partners, for support escalations.
What You’ll Bring
1. Cloud Expertise: Proficiency in Amazon AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.) and security.
2. Containerization & Microservices: Skilled with Kubernetes, Docker, and Microservice Architecture patterns.
3. Automation Mastery: Hands-on experience with Terraform/Ansible, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), and Infrastructure as Code.
4. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Linux/Windows administration, networking, and programming/scripting languages (Python, Golang, Bash, etc.).
Being a very strong hands-on and technical SRE is key, as you will own projects and the full life cycle, being strong in AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD.
Up to £125k, going in x3 a week in London.
