An exciting opportunity has become available to work within the Medical Therapy team at Basildon Hospital.

Working alongside the Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, you will be responsible for progressing patients' mobility as well as undertaking exercise programmes and occupational therapy specific treatment programmes.
Main duties of the job
The role involves working across the acute inpatient wards at Basildon Hospital.
Working alongside therapy staff, you will liaise with the multi-disciplinary team attending board rounds and independently undertake the therapy treatment of appropriate patients as decided by the therapists on the wards.

* Working in a clinical role delivering treatment and care to patients on a day-to-day basis.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Good level of general education i.e., GCSEs or equivalent.
Experience
* Experience working in an acute healthcare setting.
* Experience working with therapists.
Knowledge
* Supporting information shows knowledge of equipment used by physiotherapists and occupational therapists.

Salary: £24,071 to £25,674 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
