This is an exciting opportunity to work independently as a general neurologist while developing a subspecialist service tailored to your expertise. We welcome applicants from all neurology subspecialties, with a particular interest in epilepsy being highly desirable. Work in a dynamic, expanding department Develop a subspecialist service aligned with your expertise Flexible working opportunities across multiple sites ________________________________________ Main duties of the job As a Consultant Neurologist, you will: Deliver high-quality general neurology services across Somerset Develop and lead a subspecialty service in your area of expertise Provide outpatient care across multiple hospital sites Take part in inpatient neurology care at Musgrove Park Hospital, including ward referrals Work closely with a diverse MDT to deliver seamless patient care Engage in teaching, research, and clinical trials supported by the Clinical Research Network Participate in the duty neurologist rota, which ensures a dedicated inpatient focus with no outpatient clinics scheduled during duty weeks About us Why Join Us?
