To support a culture of strong visible leadership within EMCYPSAS.
To work collaboratively with the EMCYPSAS team, partners and subcontracted organisations to identify and implement potential service improvements or developments.
To be a pivotal lead in achieving ISO 18159 accreditation.
To lead and support the team with the quality agenda within EMCYPSAS.
Use judgements involving a range of highly complex facts or situations, which require analysis and interpretation of a range of options, e.g., ability to resolve complex multi-stranded problems to improve patient care.
Take a lead in case oversight of children and young people accessing the service, and advising on complex safeguarding cases, including attending strategy meetings.
Deliver care to the young person through forensic medical examination, sexual health follow up, administration of medication, and onward referrals.
Person specification
Essential criteria
* Registered Nurse NMC SCPHN
* Forensic examiners qualification recognised by FFLM with significant competent experience.
* Extensive safeguarding children experience, including attending strategy meetings.
* Proven management experience including managing others, health and safety and governance.
* Extensive experience at band 6 nursing or above.
Desirable criteria
* STIF BASH training at foundation level and venepuncture.
* Audit training/experience and writing policy and procedures.
* Evidence of working with multi-agency teams at a strategic level to achieve outcomes.
* Non-medical nurse prescriber.
