Forward Role is searching for a Market Insight Manager to join an ambitious team and champion data-led strategies in a dynamic retail environment.
This hands-on position is perfect for someone who thrives on diving into customer and market data, uncovering insights, and translating them into actionable business recommendations.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Working in collaboration with Trade, Buying and Merchandising team to understand market trends and category insights
* Investigating a variety of external market data sources, providing competitor analysis, understanding the customer and utilising internal BI data to build in-depth insights in to market, competitors and categories in order to drive strategy
* Working with various sources of market data, such as Kantar, Mintel, GfK
* Telling compelling stories and building a narrative with engaging data visualisations
* Hands on research work – managing end-to-end projects from brief writing, questionnaire design, analysis and evaluation.
* Build knowledge of the company and customer, to truly represent the voice of the customer.
Skills & Responsibilities:
* Experience working in a Market Insights / Research role – agency or in-house
* Highly analytical/statistical – experience with data analytics, regression analysis, correlation, and segmentation
* Comfortable working with a variety of data sets, covering 3rd party sources, internal BI, qualitative and survey data
* Ability to tell compelling stories from complex data
