Full time permanent
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a part of a busy, dedicated and established team. In your new role as Estates Operations Manager, you will work alongside the Estates staff, Site Supervisor Team, and Contractors to ensure the safe and efficient running of the college across all its sites.
You will be required to manage the Estates office staff including rota management, management of required Estates tasks and processes, and budget management. This is a widely varied role where you will work collaboratively with Contractors and service providers to schedule in and oversee both reactive and pre-planned maintenance works. You will work alongside the Head of Estates to assist with site security and emergency evacuations and monitor and review all policies and procedures within the College for Health, Safety, and Estates and Premises Management. You will also work together with key stakeholders across the college to co-ordinate exams, events, and the day-to-day running of the college.
You will have demonstrable experience within an office environment and must be able to show us how you have impacted in a similar role previously. You should enjoy creating and reviewing processes to ensure efficient procedures are in place. You will be required to develop strong working relationships across all departments within the college and be able to plan for future events as well as short notice requests and emergency works.
We want to hear from you if you have strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet competing priorities. To be successful in meeting the challenges involved with the role you must have a can-do attitude and work together as part of the team to get results. You must be able to demonstrate a solution-focused approach and be able to manage your time effectively, working flexibly with changing priorities, producing work and associated documentation to a high standard.
