An existing client of mine is looking to expand their Business Development team with a full-time member of staff to start by February 2025. This role will have a strong focus on the Primary Care sector in the UK (Private and NHS) and you must live in the South of the UK for this role.
The ideal candidate will have overall responsibility for the identification and delivery of new business opportunities within the target customer base, with the overall aim to be part of a successful team that drives the overall expansion and growth of the company.
The post holder must establish and maintain strong relationships with people both internally and externally, to ensure we remain at the forefront of new opportunities and are able to produce compelling proposals that meet the needs of our target customers.
LOCATION: Home / field-based role in the Southern region, with travel to client sites and company offices as required.
Skills required:
* Understanding of independent / private healthcare sector
* Understanding of commissioning of services within the Primary Care sector (NHS and Private)
* IT skills, especially Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication skills
* At least 3 years experience working in Business Development
* Experience of sales / business development in the primary care sector
* Working in a fast-paced environment
* Managing & engaging stakeholders including senior management
* Understanding of Cardiology would help, but not a must.
Salary: circa £50,000 with a bonus structure being drafted.
