Description Wraparound Development Worker (7857) | Fixed term contract to 31.08.26 | 37 hours per week | £36,124 to £37,938 per annum | (Grade I) | Countywide An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Early Years Learning and Childcare Team to support the delivery of the new Wraparound Childcare Scheme across Norfolk. This is part of a national programme funded by the Department for Education (DfE). We are looking to recruit a Wraparound Development Worker on a fixed term basis until the end of August 2026. In this role, you will work with service providers (Schools, Early Years and childcare settings, Childminders and Out of School Childcare) and other stakeholders to facilitate and support the development and maintenance of high quality, inclusive childcare for primary aged children, term time only. You will be responsible for supporting schools and settings to develop sustainable business models that enable viability post funding. This is a countywide post and will require travel and some evening and weekend working. You will be responsible for your own travel arrangements, and these must be carried out in the most effective and efficient way to perform the job.
