Job summary Would you like to develop your specialist knowledge and skills, working in Stroke? Primarily, this role is aimed at supporting Community working in East Riding, however, as a member of the Hull and East Riding Community Stroke Service you would have the scope to work in other areas of the team - in Hull Community or in the bedded unit. The Physiotherapy team aims to maintain an innovative approach in meeting the growing needs of stroke survivors. The service strives to keep up to date with developments in stroke rehabilitation and collectively continues to develop specialist knowledge and application in numerous areas such as specialist seating, positioning, upper limb therapy, cognitive rehabilitation, fatigue management and adjustment following stroke.Mentorship and supervision are provided by the senior staff within a friendly, multidisciplinary, supportive environment. Main duties of the job The ability to commute within the Trusts geographical area with access to the appropriate means of transport is essential.
