Job Title : Tutor - Maths, English, and Science

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Tutor to join our team in Crewe. The successful candidate will provide expert tutoring in Maths, English, and Science at the entry level/functional skills.
Responsibilities :
1. Conduct personalised tutoring sessions, with a particular emphasis on supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
2. Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning styles and individual needs.
3. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and success for all abilities.
4. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary, with a keen understanding of SEN requirements.
5. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
Qualifications :
6. Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, English, Science, or a related field.
7. Proven experience in tutoring, especially with a focus on SEN.
8. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Maths, English, and Science, and an understanding of adapting lessons for different learning needs.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and motivate students with diverse abilities.
10. Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping students with SEN succeed.
Schedule :
11. Flexible hours, with a commitment to 5 days per week (Monday to Friday).
Salary :
12. £20 - £30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
