An exciting opportunity has arisen for a clerical officer to join the Liverpool & North Mersey Diabetic Eye Screening team.
The position will be based at Aintree hospital yet will work in conjunction with the wider administrative, failsafe and clinical team operating from Aintree and the Royal Liverpool Hospital sites.
The successful applicant will be involved in the administration of the screening service working in the call recall centre booking patient appointments, answering patient queries and supporting the clinical team in the delivery of screening across the catchment area.

The post holders duties will include
1) Call recall responsibilities - booking, managing and amending appointments via the eye screening software and via telephone directly with patients
2) Appointment Bookings - booking clinical appointments across all screening pathways in line with service need as directed by service managers
3) Manage eye screening email inboxes in conjunction with the DES administrative team
4) Support the administration team with the process of referrals from screening into Ophthalmology services
5) Provide specific support as requested by the Officer Manager and Administration and Failsafe mangers for the DES programme
