We are currently recruiting for: Childcare Officer Hours of work: 38 hours per week Location of role: Formby, Merseyside Salary range: £25,909 - £28,410 per year, pro rata The Role: Work in a Children's Home providing both safe and open facilities for young people aged between 10 and 17. Our primary function is to offer protection to young people and provide a support pathway for the future. We are currently recruiting for Childcare Officers who will be responsible for providing outstanding care to the children and young people, treating them with compassion and respect. Whilst the successful candidate will cover the full remit of the role, there will be an expectation for the post holder to have a primary focus on 'activity work' with our young people. You will provide essential support to our young people by helping them gain the best outcome; you will support with education, health, independence and build their self-confidence. As a Childcare Officer, you must be optimistic and passionate about the care you provide and difference you strive to make and considerate of the struggles they face.
