Job Description
1. Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
2. Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type. Verify availability of room type and rate.
3. Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
4. Accommodate and document special requests.
5. Answer questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations.
6. Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue. Input and access data in reservation system.
7. Indicate special room reservation types (e.g., complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel agent inspection rates, and wholesale reservations) by inputting the correct code and rate into the reservation system.
8. Follow proper escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns.
Qualifications
1. Previous customer related experience an asset.
2. Must possess outstanding guest services skills and sophisticated verbal communication skills.
3. Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required.
4. High communication skills verbal and written. Perfect use of English. Command of Arabic will be considered an important asset.
