POSITION: Full Time Trainer (Support Team)
REPORTING TO: Studio Manager
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Delivering facial workouts and first-class customer service
LOCATION: FaceGym Studio
FaceGym is the first of its kind and a unique facial fitness experience, and is in the confidence-boosting business. We combine powerful kneading movements with our high-performance skincare, innovative tools, and cutting-edge technology to tone and tighten the 40+ forgotten muscles of the face.
Job Summary
The main function of this role is to carry out facial workouts and to drive exceptional customer service, sales, and build client retention within our Studios. You will be working across all central London Studios (Kings Road, Coals Drop Yard, Selfridges, St Johns Wood, and Notting Hill).
Key duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
* Deliver all workouts in line with all FaceGym Workout protocols.
* Sell the brand’s unique offerings, workouts, and homecare products within the Studio.
* Proactively engage with customers, adapting selling and service skills to different profiles.
* Overcome selling challenges and create retail theatre to attract customers.
* Maintain an exceptional customer experience at every touch point of the customer journey.
* Meet retail and service individual targets and KPI’s.
* Ensure work stations are clean, presentable, and stocked with necessary products.
* Maximize retail potential and client retention.
* Operate point of sale systems, card machines, and tills efficiently.
* Build and constantly update knowledge on skincare, products, and workouts.
* Communicate effectively with all team members and management.
* Ensure all Health & Safety guidelines are adhered to.
* Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
* Portray a professional image and conduct yourself in a manner that represents the brand.
* Establish effective working relationships with the team and management.
* Be skilled on the Zenoti booking system.
Person Specification:
The ideal candidate will:
* Have an NVQ 3 Beauty therapy qualification or equivalent.
* Possess hands-on experience with customers.
* Have previous experience in beauty, retail, or spa.
* Enjoy exploring opportunities and using initiative.
* Exhibit exceptional customer service skills.
* Be a team player with strong social skills.
* Be articulate and a confident communicator.
* Stay calm and positive during busy days.
* Be able to stand for 6-8 hours.
* Be fully flexible across weekdays and weekends.
