If so, we’d love to hear from you! This is a new and exciting opportunity to join the team at the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA).
Alongside two other Digital and Data Admin Coordinators, you will be responsible for the smooth running and coordination of the Digital and Data teams, comprising collectively of over 300 Digital and Data experts with a mixture of civil servants, interims and third party provider provision. You will support either the Digital Delivery Team, Technology Services Team, or Information Management, Security and Data Team.
The role holder will proactively support one of the teams with activities such as: acting as its risk champion, monitoring spend against budgets, administering team meetings, collating briefings, drafting communications, ensuring that business continuity plans are in place, supporting recruitment activities, and updating information within the appropriate repository.
The role holder is responsible for coordinating the governance forums, ensuring that materials and supporting papers for the forums are arranged well in advance, that action points are followed up, and that risks and issues are monitored and managed in a timely fashion.
The role holder administers communities of practice across the Digital and Data professions, supporting the coordination of profession activities across the Department for Transport (DfT) family.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Arrange and facilitate team meetings and project and delivery reviews, making use of technology as appropriate to ensure that meetings are effective across a number of locations.
* Collate and share information for meetings and reporting, in the appropriate format and in a timely manner.
* Provide ad-hoc support to the profession management teams and the wider Digital and Data directorate as required.
* Work with the Digital and Data Hub Resourcing Support team, HR, and profession leads to support team recruitment activities, completing necessary paperwork, facilitating interviews and ensuring that recruitment requirements are fulfilled as quickly as possible.
* Coordinate meetings as required and with a formality appropriate to the decisions being taken.
