Your Tasks
* Operate as a member of a team on the T&G line.
* Ensure that the work place, equipment, vehicles and machinery are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
* Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to run every aspect of the T&G line (e.g. line operation, banding, packing). To attend any further training courses as required.
* Complete shift reports detailing production and any information as required.
* Observe and comply with all safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety procedures and ensure that safety equipment is in good order and used at all times.
* Ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents/accidents and hazards are duly reported.
* Observe and comply with the Company Quality Systems as detailed in the Quality Manual.
* Liaise with the Production Manager Cutting and Profiling with regard to the condition of the T&G equipment or production problems.
* When required, provide support for holiday/sickness/training/maintenance cover, to help maximise production output and efficiency.
Our Requirements
* Fork Lift Truck Licence.
* One day Health and Safety course.
* Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel and Outlook).
* Reasonable standard of secondary education.
