We are seeking a dedicated professional with a strong background in construction and electrical engineering to join our team. If you have commercial acumen, contract management expertise, and a passion for delivering successful projects, this opportunity is for you Key Responsibilities: Work closely with project managers and quantity surveyors to develop monthly progress applications covering labour, materials, plant, and equipment costs. Conduct take-offs from construction drawings, managing and recording design changes throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor construction progress, document delays, and provide Cause & Effect analysis to the client. Prepare and submit early warnings/variation claims for additional work beyond the agreed scope. Identify and mitigate commercial risks, ensuring clear and effective risk management. Prepare internal monthly commercial reports and oversee financial aspects of the project. Conduct contract reviews and deliver high-quality reports to project leadership teams. Monitor earned values and conduct weekly spend vs. earned value calculations. Participate in project handover meetings for seamless construction execution. Work with the Project Manager to prepare and update CCS budgets. Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts, analyzing sales and cost timing. Track project delivery status and provide insights to leadership teams. Mentor junior personnel to enhance their technical and commercial capabilities. Address and resolve project-related commercial challenges, liaising with legal teams when necessary. Ensure maximum profitability on assigned projects through proactive commercial strategies. Compile and present monthly reports as directed by the Commercial Manager. Monitor site progress and ensure timely claims for loss recovery in accordance with contract conditions. Identify areas where target costs and sales are not being met, reporting findings to the Commercial and Project Managers. Undertake additional duties as required by the company. Qualifications & Experience: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; a trade background is an advantage. Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying within the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) sector. Strong understanding of contract development, award, administration, and close-out in multi-discipline construction projects. Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and technical advancements. Experience working with FIDIC, ICE, or similar contract formulation standards. Proven experience in international contracting companies adhering to recognized standards. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English. Competency in preparing Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and compiling Actual Construction Measures. Strong ability to take ownership of responsibilities and meet project objectives on time. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Eligibility to work in the UK
