Procurement Assistant

The Role
They are seeking a dedicated and self-motivated Procurement Assistant to join our client’s well-established procurement team. Based at Sunbury-on-Thames headquarters, you will report directly to the Procurement Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sourcing and introducing new suppliers.
* Maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing suppliers.
* Placing orders against requisitions, ensuring correct purchase processes are followed.
* Resolving invoice queries promptly and effectively.
* Expediting orders to ensure timely delivery.
* Communicating potential delays, supply issues, or product concerns to relevant departments.
* Negotiating prices and lead times while maintaining daily supplier contact.
