Are you passionate about working outdoors and the environment?
The waste and recycling collection teams are crucial in protecting our local and global environment. If our teams stopped collecting waste for just one week, over a thousand tonnes of waste would remain on the streets of our district.
Our operatives handle residents’ recycling and waste, identify contamination, and ensure waste is sorted and recycled into new products or converted into electricity.
This work can be physically demanding and messy. If you value work-life balance, enjoy outdoor work, and want a job that keeps you active, consider becoming a Refuse and Recycling Operative.
