An opportunity to be a Commercial Financial Controller for a logistics business based in Birmingham City Centre. This business has experienced lots of growth over the past couple of years and are working with some really exciting clients.
Main Duties:
As a Commercial Financial Controller, your main duties include:
* Provide flash reporting to support commercial decision-making.
* Collaborate with a variety of finance and non-finance stakeholders as a business partner.
* Prepare monthly accounts and associated board packs.
* Compile the consolidated statutory accounts for the UK Group and individual entities.
* Play a key role in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Implement new systems and processes.
* Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors and banks.
* Assist in the preparation of information for regular meetings with stakeholders.
* Analyse large data sets and implement new reporting and business partnering processes.
* Review the UK corporation tax returns.
* Oversee UK payroll and associated filings.
* Manage the documentation of processes and ensure sufficient controls are in place across all processes.
* Provide system support to the finance team.
* Review current systems in place and introduce improvements.
