Salary: £42,187 - £50,964 + excellent benefits (pro-rata for term time)

Role Overview
This role is based at Pontville School, where you will be working as part of a large MDT and within an established Therapy team. Experience with children aged 5-19 is beneficial and would suit a Play, Music, or Talking Therapist.
As part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team, you will support educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments. Based on clinical assessment and formulation, you will offer individualized interventions and engagement to our young people. You will also assess our young people’s mental health and recommend appropriate interventions in a personalized care plan.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver effective counselling and feedback on progress.
2. Build rapport with young people to facilitate effective interventions.
3. Support colleagues in providing therapeutic environments.
4. Conduct clinical assessments and develop personalized care plans.

Requirements
As a qualified professional (or accredited Counsellor), you’ll be eligible for membership of BACP or a similar professional body. Additional mental health or therapeutic intervention qualifications would be desirable.
You should be well-versed in child development and skilled at connecting with young people. Being highly organized and ready to take the initiative is essential. We genuinely care about our young people (and each other), so honesty and empathy are a must.
