Role: Graphic Designer Location: Manchester, England, United Kingdom. About The Role Working with our leading client in the Homecare industry, your role as a Graphic Designer will be essential in creating content to be used across a multitude of sources, including TV, web, and in-store. A thorough understanding of print and digital content is crucial to succeeding within this role. Reporting to the client, the Graphic Designer works within the wider in-house OLIVER team to help deliver the various needs of the client and their brands. You will collaborate closely with team members to produce captivating designs, leveraging industry-standard software. Your role will involve creating artwork for on and offline communications, including brochures, leaflets, ads, emails, web banners, large format, logos, promotional materials, point-of-sale displays, and packaging. What You Will Be Doing Demonstrate creative flair while working within brand guidelines. Creating artwork for on and offline communications, including brochures, leaflets, ads, emails, web banners, and large format, following brand guidelines. Assisting in creating logos, promotional materials, point-of-sale displays, and packaging for various brands. Ensure consistency in brand identity across all channels. Liaising with vendors during the printing process and providing art direction to the photography team during product shoots. Working alongside our integrated designers end-to-end on projects and supporting the digital team in multimedia campaigns. Maintaining filing systems for organized storage of completed work. Understanding support software like PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Word. Maintain internal processes and look for ways to improve them. Take responsibility for professional development and stay updated with the latest software. Work proactively under own initiative and as part of the design team. Proactively monitor artwork quality, accuracy, and consistency. Supporting the digital team in executing multimedia campaigns. What You Need To Be Great In This Role Minimum of 3 years of design experience, preferably in an agency or in-house team setting. Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills. Experience in packaging design, typography, illustration, photography retouching, and colour & image manipulation. Highly proficient in Adobe CC (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator) Excellent artworking skills (layout, creativity, attention to detail, and methodical). Take personal responsibility for the quality, consistency, and presentation of artwork. Be a great team player and have good communication skills. Experience working with cutter guides and strict print guidelines. Confident dealing with clients and have a consistent record of taking, interpreting, and delivering design projects within tight timeframes. Not mandatory but preferred experience with basic animation (GIFs) and creating accessible assets. Ability to organise and prioritise workloads effectively, with strong attention to detail and capacity to multitask.
