ChampionX is seeking an ambitious and driven individual for a Subcontracting Planner located in Aberdeen. The Subcontracting Planner will be responsible for the Planning, Inventory & Logistics management of our Subcontracting partners. Raise and issue POs for third party stocked materials. Record vendor confirmations. Work with sister plants to ship raw materials, intermediates and finished products, required for toller or warehouse sourcing plan as outlined by Planning long term supply plan. Ensure all materials have goods receipt to maintain accurate inventory records. Be aware of production constraints at the toller. Organise regular meetings with the third party toller planning team and customer service to communicate the weekly and monthly production plans. Work with suppliers to meet the production and delivery requirements to optimise service, inventory and cost. Schedule tanks and IBC carriers as required. Arrange freight against existing logistics contracts and create all necessary shipping documentation. Ensure all products are goods issued to ensure accurate inventory records. Utilise timely and effective communication of issues that may result in service level issues. This includes providing updates to advise internal and external personnel regarding supplier and open purchase order status exceptions, identify appropriate re-planning and recommend actions to minimise non-conformances. Review open order report daily to highlight potential issues in customer deliveries. Communicate to customer service any changes to shipping schedule. Monitor site inventory, including conducting regular cycle counts in line with corporate policy. Manage Excess and Obsolete Inventory to minimise disposal costs. Ensure stock levels are held according to planning guidance. Provide formal and informal reporting (via KPI) on plant performance. Effectively communicate and collaborate with suppliers & internal teams cross functionally. Ensure a safe working environment and comply with company safety regulations and guidelines. Ensure that tollers and third-party warehouses are adhering to Goal Zero policy. Minimum Qualifications: Supply Chain experience or bachelor’s degree. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office packages Excellent communication, time management and prioritization skills. Ability to use own initiative, be reliable and demonstrate commitment Desired Qualifications: ERP (SAP) experience preferred APICS / CIPS certification beneficial but not essential.
