Reporting to the senior manager accounting, the role will involve supporting the delivery of key parts of the accounting service within the agreed timetable and working with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the service and associated processes are completed effectively, efficiently, consistently, and in a compliant manner. You'll ideally have knowledge in the following accounting processes: bad debt, intercompany, insurance, accruals and prepayments accounting or cost analysis and reporting. Our business experiences a high level of change and therefore it's a great opportunity to make significant difference to the way that we operate to deliver our service, working smarter not harder. This role is permanent and full time. You'll be based from our main office in Wolverhampton with regular home working available. This is what we are looking for from you: Previous experience in a shared service environment at a similar level and being part of a successful accounting service an advantage but not essential Experience of working to service level agreements (SLA's) Confident communicating across both finance and non-financial stakeholder groups Experience of working in a regulated sector desirable but not essential Experience and ability to work and support through change and ongoing continuous improvement essential Excellent time management and ability to work well under pressure.
