A fantastic opportunity has become available to join a Sales Order Processing department ensuring customer orders into a European supplier of Personal Care Products are transacted smoothly.
The Business:
This niche business offers products to a variety of sectors producing both branded and own brand products for a variety of leading names. Each product requirement has its own specifics and criteria meaning the Account Executive plays a key role in ensuring customer requirements can be maintained to customer specification with a professional eye.
Main Role Responsibilities:
Your role will have key customer contact liaison, managing client contacts and requests, orders and instructions and keeping all stakeholders informed by way of regular status updates, reporting and forecasting. Your ability to administer this vital function in a professional and organised fashion will mean the client and other internal departments can meet the customers expectations.
The below indicates just a few of the role responsibilities;
* Ensuring customer “order to delivery” process is administered and communicated effectively.
* Administration of system customer pricing matrix.
* Processing sales orders enquiries (use of JDE system).
* Running weekly sales open orders reports and sending these to allocated customers.
* Providing daily customer contact / support.
* Despatch processing – This includes processing / reviewing orders.
* Arranging deliveries or collections and then finally ship confirmation.
* Liaising with internal stakeholders.
The above list is not exhaustive and includes many important tasks to reflect this important role.
Your Skills and Abilities:
a) Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
b) Working knowledge in supply chain/customer service & despatch
c) Strong communication skills at all levels
d) High attention to detail and accuracy
e) Process orientated – ability to monitor, measure and report
f) Good Systems knowledge of JDE and Excel
g) Flexibility/Ability to learn
h) Driving ability preferred – off site client visits/meetings are to be expected
Salary, Benefits and Hours:
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8.00am-4.00pm/9.00am-5.00pm 40 minutes paid break per day. A mixture of working from home and the Office is currently in practice.
Holidays: 22 days + stats (statutory days and some annual days are designated and allocated by the Company on an annual basis)
Salary circa: Competitive – typically 29-31k market expectation
Contributory Pension Scheme – (salary exchange option + 50% of ER’s NI Rebate given to employees’ pension fund). Contributions are 5% Employee and 4% Employer (minimum).
