The Role
We currently have a challenging opportunity for an Skills Manager to join our Kent team. The role will require you to lead, own and drive the performance of a new delivery team based in Kent. This is a fixed term offer until December .
You will oversee all aspects of the multiply contract including learner and employer attraction, programme delivery and retention, ensuring that the customer receives an excellent, quality driven experience.
Our Skills Managers are an essential part of what we do, driving strategic priorities and ensuring the achievement of financial targets and KPI’s with energy and professionalism. This role requires the management of all aspects of the Centre and associated geographical area to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Performance Responsibilities
* Through strategic and motivational leadership and Centre oversight, deliver exceptional service and an outstanding experience for our customers
* Continually drive improvement to find more effective and efficient solutions
* Ensure delivery plans are robust and tailored to meet immediate objectives whilst also looking to the future and planning for potential upcoming opportunities
* Strategic and day to day leadership, ensuring relevant and measurable KPI’s are set, monitored and achieved
* Review and monitoring of MI to track performance and the ability to adjust planning accordingly
* Management and monitoring of P&L to ensure that strategies are deployed to achieve forecasts
* Thoroughly understand the requirements for each specification, contract, and stakeholder expectations within their remit

* 1B - Courses designed to increase confidence with numbers for those needing the first steps towards formal numeracy qualifications.
* 4B - Courses aimed at people who can’t apply for certain jobs because of lack of numeracy skills and/or to encourage people to upskill in numeracy order to access a certain job/career
* 6B - Courses for parents wanting to increase their numeracy skills to help their children, and help their own progression
