We wish to recruit a creative individual to work with members of the teaching staff in providing support and motivation to our students through counselling and coaching. The ability to establish clear expectations of good behaviour and student achievement is vital. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and proven experience of working with young people and their families. Areas of focus will include working with students with complex needs.This post is pastoral, Assistant Head of Year (Achievement Manager). This is a permanent position. Salary is based on pay range 19 – 23, full time equivalent of £29,777 - £32,076. The actual pro rata salary for 37 hours per week, term time only plus 10 days will be £26,269 - £28,297 per annum.Hours of work will be 37 per week, from 8.15am until 4.15pm four days per week, and from 8.30am until 4.00pm one day per week. These timings are inclusive of half an hour daily for unpaid lunch break. There will be a requirement to work all five INSET days, plus five days.
