Finance Analyst
St. Albans
Up to £55,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage weekly reporting for the UK and Europe, enhancing reporting systems and providing deeper analysis.
* Conduct month-end variance analyses to identify budget discrepancies and recommend improvements.
* Guide club teams in interpreting and applying data for better decision-making.
* Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to internal stakeholders.
* Support the development and maintenance of workforce management systems.
* Provide training and troubleshooting support to ensure effective tool usage.
* Contribute to the budget and forecasting processes, taking ownership of key cost lines and refining budget models.
* Measurable efficiency improvements and controlled year-on-year cost growth.
* Clear and accurate cost reporting to enhance organisational understanding.
* Reduction in payroll variance with a compressed league table of results.
Experience:
* Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive key initiatives across the business.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills, supported by an accounting qualification (Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified).
* Excellent multitasking abilities to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
* Exceptional communication skills to input complex data into clear insights.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
* Experience with Power BI.
