Finance Analyst St. Albans Up to £55,000 per annum Key Responsibilities: Manage weekly reporting for the UK and Europe, enhancing reporting systems and providing deeper analysis. Conduct month-end variance analyses to identify budget discrepancies and recommend improvements. Guide club teams in interpreting and applying data for better decision-making. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to internal stakeholders. Support the development and maintenance of workforce management systems. Provide training and troubleshooting support to ensure effective tool usage. Contribute to the budget and forecasting processes, taking ownership of key cost lines and refining budget models. Measurable efficiency improvements and controlled year-on-year cost growth. Clear and accurate cost reporting to enhance organisational understanding. Reduction in payroll variance with a compressed league table of results. Experience: Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive key initiatives across the business. Strong numerical and analytical skills, supported by an accounting qualification (Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified). Excellent multitasking abilities to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. Exceptional communication skills to input complex data into clear insights. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas). Experience with Power BI.
