This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer seeking a stable role within in a great team, working on a fixed afternoon shift (2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week) plus 1-2 Sunday shifts per month (paid as overtime at your hourly rate). Respond promptly to breakdowns and carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM). Maintain and repair key equipment, including conveyors, mixers, weighing and dispensing units, silos, and hoppers. Ensure minimal downtime by diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults efficiently. Manage spare parts, tools, and engineering records, keeping all necessary documentation up to date. Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. Adhere to the highest standards of health & safety compliance. What We’re Looking For Electrical bias engineer with experience in food, FMCG, or manufacturing environments. Strong understanding of automated production lines, conveyors, and weighing/dispensing systems. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a 5 person engineering team. Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintaining food production equipment. Knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance requirements.
