McCarthy Stone are looking for Relief House Managers to join the team to cover ad hoc shifts at some of our development across Kent.
Hours: Flexible hours to be agreed with Operations Manager
Hourly rate: £13.77 per hour
Mileage will be paid.

About the Role of a Relief House Manager
We are seeking a customer centric House Manager to exemplify the high-quality customer standards that we are renowned for. A House Manager is a diverse role encompassing front of house management, facilities, event coordination and customer service.
Some of the Relief House Manager duties within this role include:
1. Helping Homeowners settle into their new home.
2. Providing a professional front of house service and welcome all visitors in a friendly manner.
3. Being available to all Homeowners to offer help, support and advice as necessary.
4. Promoting good communications between the Homeowners and their families, and our partners and suppliers who provide support and other services.
5. Managing the development, gardens and grounds in an efficient and effective manner such that a safe, secure, well maintained and pleasant environment is provided for our Homeowners.
6. Dealing with emergency situations as they arise in a professional way.
7. Facilitating social interaction and helping Homeowners to enjoy retirement living to the full.
The successful candidate will have the following key competencies:
1. Excellent communication skills with a real "can do" attitude.
2. Extensive experience in a professional customer service orientated position.
3. A professional approach with high quality standards.
4. To be reliable and flexible to deal with out of hours calls and emergencies on the development.
5. Thrives in a busy and varied role, where every day will be different.
6. Be resilient and can problem solve effectively.
7. An awareness of basic Health and Safety will be a distinct advantage.
8. A good level of computer literacy including Microsoft Word and Outlook.
9. Previous/current work based first aid qualifications will be an advantage.
