Pinnacle have partnered with a leading Civils company, who have a civil rail project starting in Birmingham. Our client is looking for a Works Manager to oversee the project until completion. You'll oversee planned and reactive projects, requiring expertise in Civil Engineering Construction. The responsibilities of a Works Manager will Include: Procuring essential materials, managing sub-contractors, and coordinating plant and equipment. Implementing site-specific management plans to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies. Preparing site works packages and contract plans, facilitating possession, isolation, and traffic management requests. Providing guidance to site personnel and identifying training needs. Conducting site visits with contractors and sub-contractors. Ideal experience needed: A minimum of 5 years' experience in Civil Engineering Construction. SMSTS / SSSTS certification. Proficiency in managing multiple work sites. Experience in railway environments Railway Safety Training (PTS) Strong multitasking skills and adaptability. Proven track record in managing frameworks. Excellent communication, people management, and problem-solving skills. Salary upto £65,000, plus benefits.
