Job summary We have the perfect opportunity for you to join us the Deputy Head of Analytics, you will work with the Head of Analytics to coordinate the provision of bespoke analysis for operational and clinical customers. The divisional team uses a wide range of analytics techniques including regular performance dashboards, demand and capacity modelling, and statistical analysis. You will be responsible for supervising the continuous improvement of the team capabilities in the aforementioned areas, developing and maintain relationships with the clinical divisions in the Trust and responding to ad-hoc queries for information and analysis. This is a key role to build strong relationships with the operational teams. Main duties of the job As Deputy Head of Analytics you will be responsible for managing six senior analysts, offering expert advice and supporting the team to focus on the significant operational challenges facing the Trust. You will be responsible for coordinating the team resources, helping the analysts to organise their workflow and coaching their professional development. As the lead of the divisional team you will also help the Head of Analytics to manage the relationship between the analytics team and operational and clinical teams ensuring building confidence among senior stakeholders and managing priorities across divisions. Quality Assurance is a key area for the team and as Deputy Head of Analytics you are expected to champion the deployment of quality assurance process and procedures within the team, develop a Quality Culture within the team.
