What skills and experience we're looking for
We wish to appoint a qualified, passionate Art specialist to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3,4, and 5. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Art and Design, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to foster creativity and critical thinking. They will help continue to build a culture of excellence within the team and thrive in a fast paced department. While a broad knowledge of variousart techniques and media is essential, a specificart speciality- such as painting, sculpture, digital art, ceramics or printing would be a bonus and furtherhelp enrich our curriculum.

You will be joining a dynamicand driven department which plays an important part in the creative culture of the school and offers a broad and varied curriculum in Art, Craft and Design that provides students with the opportunity to learn and be inspired by artists, craftspeople and designers from a range of time periods and cultures. Facilities for Art have been recently refurbished creating a superb creative working environment.
