The SMB College Group is a highly successful FE college, formed of two merged and reputable colleges – Stephenson College and Brooksby Melton College. Specialising in land-based, technical, trade and creative arts, we provide an extensive curriculum from Agriculture to Animal Care, Construction to Sport, Hair & Beauty to Care. We are an innovative and highly responsive centre for education and training with campuses in Coalville, Melton Mowbray and Brooksby. SMB College Group work with some fantastic industry partners to ensure they provide the skills needed now and in the future.
An exciting opportunity has arisen at the College for a Marketing Content, Web and PR Officer on a fixed term basis. We are seeking a passionate and vibrant individual to manage our website content and keep all images, video and text up to date. You will also be responsible for copy writing for various online and offline marketing materials and carrying out PR duties, including researching and writing regular press releases and crafting engaging awards submissions.
The ideal candidate will need excellent communication, organisation and time management skills with an eye for detail and the ability to use your own initiative.
