We are looking for an AIRLINE SUPPORT MANAGER (ASM) who will work as the technical support engineering representative for our airline customers in the European region on behalf of our Aerostructures business. As a member of a global Airline Support team, you will help support 20 aircraft and 30 engine variants across our 400 airline customers. You will act as the primary liaison between personnel at all levels across various organizations internally with Collins and externally with airlines. What You Will Do Act as the primary Aerostructures technical support point of contact responsible for providing time bound technical support services including but not limited to; technical inquiry resolution, effective Aircraft on Ground (AOG) complex solution management, field problem resolution, product support updates, maintenance troubleshooting, and training to airline customers. Partner with the airlines to understand the voice of the customer to drive organizational priorities and to support the development of root cause, containment, and corrective actions of field problems. Support Aerostructures products throughout the aircraft's entire lifecycle. From predelivery product familiarization training and initial spares provisioning, to Entry Into Service (EIS) fleet reliability monitoring and data collection, to operational peak identifying service needs and consultation on maintenance, repair, and overhaul recommendations. Collaborate with Aerostructures Customer Support functions (Aftermarket Technical Services, Maintenance Repair and Overhaul, and Spares) as well as OEM partners (airframer, engine suppliers) to ensure coordinated customer responses for both technical and commercial solutions. Travel regionally to conduct on-site customer visits to develop and maintain working relationships at the airlines to ensure a positive customer experience while promoting business interests. Ensure a positive customer experience through managing effective execution of improvement initiatives derived from formal and/or informal customer feedback. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and proven prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and relevant experience or in absence of a degree, significant relevant experience. Experience providing customer focused engineering technical support. Experience in project management. Qualifications We Prefer: Experienced working in a fast paced, high pressure, and high visibility external facing role driving effective resolutions internally and externally. Ability to craft and present key messages to both internal and external stakeholders at an executive level. Ability to appropriately de-escalate externally and escalate internally to ensure a positive customer experience while progressing the business. Strong understanding of commercial implications of engineering changes, field issues, and investigations. Strong technical background to quickly identify, understand and articulate in-service issues. Possess Nacelle component knowledge. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical manuals (AMM, CMM, IPC, SRM).
