Main Responsibilities:
* To lead technical troubleshooting and drive measurable solutions to improve production quality.
* To characterise and optimise manufacturing processes using tools like PFMEA.
* To analyse trends and provide insights to drive smarter decisions and enhance performance.
* To spearhead process development and fine-tuning, including impregnation, pressing, and blown film lines.
* To champion innovation and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technological advancements.
* To work closely with R&D and design teams to ensure smooth product transitions into manufacturing.
* To oversee the set-up of specifications, procedures, and instructions for new products.
Requirements:
* A minimum of an HNC in a relevant science or engineering field.
* Previous experience in technical manufacturing engineering roles is desirable but not essential.
* A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise and support multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex technical issues.
* An adaptable and flexible approach to shifting demands and processes.
* A keen focus on detail, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and lead technical projects.
