About The Role
You will take responsibility for the care and wellbeing of our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This includes leading, motivating, and mentoring your team of carers while delivering clinical guidance and coaching. Your strong leadership will ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the care home. Promoting our residents’ independence, dignity, and choice is crucial, and maintaining accurate records is essential for addressing any issues that may arise. You will exercise strong professional judgment and make critical decisions.

Responsibilities And Duties Of The Job
* Provide leadership to the administration, care, catering, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, and people management functions of the home.
* Lead in marketing the service and selling its services at agreed prices.
* Maintain operations of the home at the standards agreed with the Registered Provider within the financial budget.
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of individuals supported.
* Ensure Service Users are at the heart of care delivery, enhancing their wellbeing.
* Undertake Care Planning activities for Service Users considering privacy, dignity, personal choice, and informed consent.
* Develop Care Plans in collaboration with Service Users, their families, and the multi-disciplinary team.
* Manage all aspects of medicine in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Induct new starters and conduct staff supervision and appraisals for department heads.
* Develop staff to their full potential ensuring succession planning.
* Embed multidisciplinary teamwork in the service.
* Act as a mentor and build strong team relationships.
* Update and monitor care plans as required.
* Liaise with other healthcare professionals.
* Provide care according to best practices, policies, and legislative requirements.
