IBA Liaison The Role: IBA / Liaison Associate We have a fantastic opportunity for someone with IBA / Accounts experience to join our Operations team based at our St Giles office in Liverpool. The purpose of this role is to process and control accounting transactions and act as a liaison between the IBA finance team and business colleagues relating to the accounting activities associated with our clients’ insurance policies. This role is instrumental in protecting our clients’ money under the CASS 5 rules whilst providing an efficient and compliant service to our stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include: Email and telephone queries: To solve queries with internal stakeholders and external partners. Reconciling our two systems, Acturis and Circus, ensuring details such as Premiums, Commissions, Introducers etc are correct Assist in Cash Allocations Training: Keep up to date with any CPD training requirements. Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform various ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the IBA finance team to contribute to the overall success of the department. Have an excellent understanding of the end-to-end insurance transaction process Provide knowledge and support across several insurance broking platforms, ideally Acturis Liaise with various group functions, maintaining excellent working relationships Skills You will need to have and Insurance / Finance background You will need to be organised, have good time management and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written You will need to be a good team player, be self-motivated and be confident Having experience with direct debit process would be an advantage however this isn’t essential Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent investigative skills leading to effective resolutions. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Proactive approach to handling queries and providing timely solutions Strong attention to detail. Ability to work under deadlines. Positive response to change and ability to work well under pressure. Analytical approach to problem-solving. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
