You will support our construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to timelines and quality standards. As a Construction Manager, you will work closely with the Senior Construction Manager, subcontractors, and project delivery teams to coordinate activities, manage resources, and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders. In addition, you will; You will be an advocate of MAG's value of safety first, and be accountable for leading and maintaining exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability and project compliance standards. You will possess technical expertise in local health and safety rules and regulations relevant to project portfolio. You will build relationships to manage and influence stakeholders, both internally and externally. Act as Manchester Airport Groups day-to-day site representative to monitor so that the contractors site activities are conducted safely and efficiently with minimum impact on the environment and operational airport, and the work is of a high standard and in accordance with the relevant specifications and latest practices. Monitor progress of the works by regular site visits and inspections, comparing work in progress with contract documentation, and information given at site meetings and with the overall contract programme. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a client-side construction management role and contribute to the success of exciting projects across Manchester Airport You will also be required to provide Construction Management support throughout all stages of the project lifecycle within all assigned projects and work with Project Managers to support the successful delivery of the Capital Plan. You will be working towards or be current member of a professional body such as RICS, APM, CIOB, RIBA, ICE, or similar, along with a solid understanding of the Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2015, would be beneficial.
