Play a key role in scoping, designing, developing, and supporting Business Intelligence reporting solutions for use across the Vaultex operation for strategic decision making. Collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand the reporting needs of the operation, our shareholders, and their customers to develop innovative, visually engaging business intelligence solutions. To identify and develop new internal and external data sources for use within Vaultex for reporting and analysis. Main responsibilities Development and maintenance of the Business Intelligence reporting system infrastructure, including delivering new reports, monitoring report performance and usage, supporting changes to data extraction and transformation for identified and agreed business requirements, testing system upgrades and ensuring business continuity. Gathering, interpreting, and developing reporting requirements through working in partnership with business leads from across Vaultex. Develop and drive actionable insights from our data sources to support Senior Management decision-making. Collaboration with Stakeholders to establish, business goals, metrics and requirements and then translate these specifics into business analysis solutions. Use current data visualisation techniques to ensure that non-technical users can interpret and use reports correctly for decision-making. Conducting data quality checks while ensuring data integrity and accuracy across all spectrums before implementing findings. Developing reports, visualisations, and presentations to communicate strategic findings and presenting these insights as recommendations to key stakeholders to aid business decisions. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and optimisation based on data insights. Create and maintain documentation including requirements, design, and user manuals. Develop and manage solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, PowerApps etc. Knowledge, skills and experience needed for the job. Experience of working with Business Intelligence Tools such as, Tableau, Power BI to create visually engaging interactive reports and dashboards. Experience of presenting complex data effectively through the use of data visualisation techniques. Experience of working with a wide variety of stakeholders to collect requirements to develop solutions that meet the customer needs. Experience of managing and co-ordinating a number of different projects at once. Experience of providing insight through data analysis for Senior Management. Understanding of data quality and ability to prepare data for analysis. Effective communication skills, highly numerate and analytical with a good attention to detail. Creativity in solving problems, curiosity and eagerness to learn and develop new techniques. Ability to develop high quality working relationships with a range of stakeholders. Displays initiative and resilience, confident to work independently or as part of a team. Results oriented, with a strong sense of urgency, proactive and flexible.
